Like The Alchemist, Winemaker Pam squirreled away to blend this beauty – our third vintage of Washington GSM Rhone Blend. This vintage is “Quintessential Washington!” Heavy on Grenache, our GSM is loaded with the lite red fruits that the Grenache grape is known for – cranberry, pomegranate, and cherry. Syrah balances the wine out bringing in darker fruits, a tich of pepper, and a beautiful, long finish. And the Mourvèdre continues to balance this elixir with black currant fruit, astringency, and a pop of higher alcohol. What makes Adrice Wines’ The Alchemist a “Quintessential Washington GSM?” Winemaker Pam magically transformed three common Washington grapes into everything that matters in a great wine – color, body, acids, tannins, and alcohol.
