2025 Spring Release Tasting Notes

2024 Voyager Viognier: Yakima Valley, WA. 100% Viognier. Our 2024 Voyager greets you with aromas of Meyer lemon and apricots. When you take a sip, the initial impression is light in the mouth and mildly sweet transitioning through to an almond skin firm finish. The residual sugars in Voyager give it a luscious feel and would pair nicely with the parmesan and anchovies in a crisp caesar salad, or with a chilled pear and gorgonzola cheese tart.

2024 Dekker’s Nectar Cab Franc Rosé: Phinney Hill Vineyard, Horse Heaven Hills, WA. 100% Cabernet Franc. Initial notes of balsamic strawberry and casaba melon, with a hint of clover honey fill the glass.  This dry uncomplicated rose has flavors of apple peel, gooseberry and brazil nut. This is a lovely wine for sitting on the deck with gruyere and crackers or paired with veggies like asparagus, carrots, & bok choy stir fried with sesame oil.

2021 Cabbera: Columbia Valley, WA. 64% Cabernet Sauvignon / 36% Barbera. This blend has a beautiful medium garnet color, and opens with notes of white pepper as you inhale.  A strong mid-week wine, great for that Wednesday night pasta dinner it fills the mouth with jammy cherry, dried oregano, and cocoa powder. The acidity nicely balances with smoooth integrated tannins. Hard to describe and easy to drink - our Cabbera will keep you engaged through dinner.

2022 Alegria: Columbia Valley, WA. 85% Grenache / 10% Petit Verdot / 5% Merlot. Sometimes siblings have very different personalities - this year's Alegria is NOT like its older sister.  Both are amazing - and yet so different! The 2022 Alegria is a deep semi-translucent garnet with shy aromas of ripe raspberry, dark chocolate, and clove with a touch of vanilla on the back. In the mouth flavors of ripe plum, toasted sugar, black tea, and biscoff cookies come forward. The balanced acids and tannins make this a ‘boomy’ delicious wine. This wine works for all seasons - whether it’s smores over a campfire, aprés ski, or a bright day with a tarragon chicken salad on rye bread. This is already a member favorite!!

2021 Reserve Syrah:Les Collines, Walla Walla, WA. 100% Syrah. This reserve is ready to drink now! It’s complex, integrated, mature, and smooth from start to finish.  This elegant syrah takes you on a walk through the woods with aromas of black currant, cedar, morel mushrooms, and a light floral hint. In the mouth you taste the umami first with a creamy mouthfeel. The black currant fruit really hits after the first taste. The nose on this wine doesn’t quit and just keeps going, you’re going to keep analyzing this wine all the way through the bottle.

2023 Complete 9 Malbec: Phinney Hill Vineyard, Horse Heaven Hills, WA. 100% Malbec. This is a brand-new label for us. This Malbec stood out and demanded its own spot in the Adrice series of Malbecs. In numerology, 2025 represents the 9th year - the end of a cycle and the beginning of the next. Complete 9 is our thanks to all of our members for their support as we mature into our next manifestation.  An opaque deep magenta - the first thing you notice is how this wine stains the glass! Highly aromatic with dried violets, green pepper, lavender & graphite, it brings forward the feeling of an old library and a freshly sharpened pencil. Well balanced, the mouth is filled with gothic cherry, notes of oak, leather, and cigar boxes. This is book club wine ready to drink now or lay down for a nap. We recommend decanting this wine - and just keep swirling as you enjoy.

2022 Fool’s Gold: Columbia Valley, WA. 100% Syrah. We’ve waited a few years for the next Fool’s Gold, and the 2022 vintage brought some real firsts to our tasting crew.  This deep magenta dessert wine hits on the nose with musky sandalwood, rich mulberry, and squid ink. The palate fills with plum, blackberries, and a little cedar & cigar. Our crew described the vintage as “thicc” and “plush” - so we know they were impressed! Well balanced, the 2022 Fool’s Gold is beautiful now and will continue to age beautifully.
