Name Origin: - Fool's Gold - noun: Any of several minerals, especially pyrite and chalcopyrite, sometimes mistaken for gold.

We’ve waited a few years for the next Fool’s Gold, and the 2022 vintage brought some real firsts to our tasting crew.  This deep magenta dessert wine hits on the nose with musky sandalwood, rich mulberry, and squid ink. The palate fills with plum, blackberries, and a little cedar & cigar. Our crew described the vintage as “thicc” and “plush” - so we know they were impressed! Well balanced, the 2022 Fool’s Gold is beautiful now and will continue to age beautifully.
