Adrice Wines' 2020 Albariño will complement any warm summer day with its bright and zesty freshness! Albariño is typically known for its fruitiness and high acidity and is best served slightly chilled (say 50°). Alma will grace your nose with ripe stone fruit (peaches), and bright citrus fruit (grapefruit and pineapple). You can smell the aromas from a mile away, and the juicy acidity fills your mouth with luscious fruits of pineapple, peach, pear, and starfruit. Typical of this soulful grape - our 4th vintage of Albariño has a slight minerality or salinity to it that begs for a plate of dry, salty cheese like Manchego or Gruyere.
Alma will pair beautifully with "fin fish" (halibut, cod, bass, or trout) - think grilled fish tacos - or experiment with steamed mussels (be sure to use some of this stunning wine in the pot!), shrimp risotto, or grilled octopus. Alma Albariño is always a winner with fresh vegetables and creamy dressings served over a leafy summer salad.
Honestly though...our SOUL awakens after a long day with our feet up, a moderately chilled glass of zesty Alma in hand, and our favorite artist crooning in the background. Count on Alma for your Soul's Revival!
