As you pour a glass of this sultry elixir – you’ll immediately notice its deep marionberry color and nose of sugarplum and violets. After a few aerating swirls, Étouffant displays stilt-like legs hinting to its bold structure and age-worthiness. Don't worry though...you'll never manage to cellar this beauty for too long as it's just too good not to enjoy now! Your palate will awaken with black cherry, cedar & incense, and black fruits that will last long on your mid-palette. A bit higher in tannins that her sister - if you're willing to let her rest for a year or two....this beauty will surely be an award winner too! Pair with meatloaf, roasted pork loin or beef stew...or go all out and serve pan-seared duck breast with blueberry sauce!
