This luscious wine greets you with a nose of deep, rich black fruits - blackberry, black currant, and especially black cherry. On the palate, she shows a perfect balance of acids and tannins with first red fruits of red currant, watermelon, and cherry….transitioning into a tich of spiciness on the mid-palate reminiscent of the Mexican condiment Tajin (chili, lime, and salt). Enjoy the l-o-n-g finish that will sit for days on your mid and back palate
One of our favorite and trusted tasters offered this: "Pepper front, currant mid, cherry back". What do you get in this luscious, complex wine? Whatever it is…we hope you truly enjoy this exquisite stunner. And if you're wondering about what to pair it with - everyone just came up with a Ribeye steak.
Bottled in June 2019, this wine could rest in your cellar for at least another 6-9 months - or give it a good long decant before enjoying it. Will drink well through 2027.
