Name Origin: Bare Knuckle Syrah showcases winemaker Pam’s patience and passion for her favorite grape – Syrah.
If you're a fan of Adrice Wines...you know that winemaker Pamela LOVES her some Syrah! It's her favorite grape - and she prefers to let the grape express itself naturally as a single varietal. Every single Syrah Pam's ever produced since her first 2013 California vintage has won multiple awards. We're certain Bare Knuckle Syrah (BKS we lovingly call it) will as well!
TA-DA...Welcome to Adrice Wines' very first Washington Syrah - Bare Knuckle Syrah. Yep...if you've already seen this now-famous Washington Wine picture, that's Pam's hands doing a punchdown during harvest on these amazing Syrah grapes!!!
Grab a bottle and try not to splash a pour on your knuckles. Bare Knuckle Syrah shows darker in color than a Cab Sauv, with a touch of translucency at the edges. This full-bodied red wine greets you with aromas of milk chocolate, espresso, and vanilla bean ahead of lovely, ripe berry fruit. On your palette, expect a creamy mouthfeel, those same ripe blackberry and raspberry notes, a subtle taste of espresso - and a dry finish resembling the sweet tobacco smoke of grandpa's pipe. This wine is a perfect expression of Washington's warmer-climate Syrah.
Perfect served alone - or with a nice meal. Syrah and game make a perfect wine and food pairing. Syrah is often the best wine for all types of roasted, grilled or smoked meat dishes like; duck, beef, veal, sausage, grilled meats, barbecue, and chicken dishes.
